happy christmas

hi everyone! we had another happy christmas in st louis. gabby enjoyed all the toys and clothes that "santa" brought. well, maybe not the tickle-me-elmo that was supposed to be the homerun hitter. it rolls around on the ground and laughs hysterically. even i'm pretty scared of that thing. gabby's terrified. ...lesson learned.

ice storm

last thursday night we had a wicked ice storm roll through st louis. everything in it's wake was frozen. trees, grass, roads, houses, even my garbage can! it was actually a pretty cool sight with ice sickles hanging from trees and powerlines. unfortunately several homes in the area lost power due to downed powerlines. with the freezing weather we certainly hope everyone stays safe.
