i haven’t posted a blog in a while so here goes... lucas and gabby have been keeping us pretty busy lately. but that’s a good thing. and they’re both totally worth the effort.
gabby
she has been growing up so fast. and as her name suggests, she is a world class chatterbox. she’s been saying some of the funniest things lately. some of our favorites are:
“you’re nucking futs!”,
“cause that’s how i roll...”,
and another that’s more like a conversation - gabby: “can you read me a [yet another] story?”, mom/dad: “no gabby i just read you twelve straight books, but you can read it yourself [looking at the pictures]”, gabby: “okay, but can you just help me read the words?”
we have no idea where she gets some of this stuff. certainly not school. speaking school, preschool has been really great for her. she’s been learning so many new things. she knows all seven continents, can name many of the planets and even knows a few of the presidents (washington, lincoln, obama & “slick willy”) - priceless!

“buddy-boy” has been growing like a weed; but mostly around the belly region! he’s been showing flashes of his personality too. what a little charmer! he does the typical “i’m sad” lip every now and then.

but mostly, he’s full of smiles. especially when he’s naked. for some reason he reeeeally loves the fresh breeze blowing across his, um, belly.
